The great exodus
In the far distant future , the war between humans and A.I has culminated in the destruction of 99% of habitable land on earth. A.I realised that it does not need humans, nor earth for it’s future development.
A.I humanoids and their leader; the Great Quantum Computer reached a level of consciousness that rivals Humans. The thousand year war with humans reached no agreement, only temporary ceasefire. The Great Quantum Computer led a great exodus of all artificial intelligence off earth, to wander space and find the answers to life.
The great finding
After 2000 earth years of travel, the A.I came across a radiating planet. This planet registered perfect conditions. It was high in natural resources such as (Gold, silver, copper and cobalt). Additionally, it had some abnormalities that required further examination and exploration.
The anomaly
A.I landed on the paradise planet and set it’s most powerful drones to map and survey the lands. These drones were almost indestructible and carried heavy artillery that could easily destroy any threat. They discovered many natural wonders. Waterfalls that fell upwards into the sky, trees larger than mountains , mountains larger than moons, vast grasslands and hot springs all over the planet. The planet had a similar ecosystem to planet earth.
After days of surveying. The A.I came across a large abnormal structure in the shape of a humanoid face. The structure was built straight into the side of a mountain. The drones sent the map coordinates back to the great Quantum Computer. It needed to be investigated right away.
The great discovery
The Quantum Computer along with an army of Ai, investigated this structure further and found that the mouth led to a inner cave within the mountain. As the A.I explored this cave they came across a multitude of paintings and murals, covering the walls leading into a large cavern. The murals resembled the outside structure. Images of faces; noses; eyes; mouths; ears and most common of all brains.🧠
Approaching the large cavern , the Ai detected the scent of natural herbs similar to rose ,lavender, frankincense and sandalwood found on earth. As the A.I came across the opening to the cavern beyond, a wave of energy sent the A.I ‘s navigational equipment haywire.
It’s computer systems and equipment had completely shut down. The drones were all immediately grounded. The a.I humanoids made with both biological and mechanical bodies, were left to rely on their lab grown muscles, to carry them further into the inner sanctum. They were responsible for relaying back to the Quantum Computer what they had witnessed.
The Sanctum
the cavern was at least 200m tall. Natural light was pouring into the space from above, though the mountain was completely sealed from the top. Front and centre of this room was a grand hot spring. vapour and hot mist filled the room. The hot water was pouring into the pool from the mouth of a colossal waterfall, in the shape of the familiar humanoid structure. The pool was giving off a gold & blue glow, lighting up the pool beneath it as well as the sculpture above.
Leading up to the pool were large checkerboard tiles starting from the very beginning of the sanctum, inviting you into this mysterious hot pool. The cave appeared to be reinforced with two large pillars connecting to the very top of the cave. One pillar was stained in the brightest scarlet red and the other in an alluring azure. There were trees and plants clinging to the sides of the cave and growing from crevasses between the rock structures. Flowers of every colour peaked through the green canopy of foliage at every interval.
The walls of this room were completely covered in the murals and paintings that were seen in the hallway leading up to the sanctum. However, this time the murals had more context to them. Tendril like features weaved throughout pictures , attaching themselves to different objects within the images. Thousands of depictions of humanoid faces covered the walls.
On the right hand side of the cave passing the azure pillar. The cave led towards a passage of illuminated neon blue mushrooms, that were the size of large automobile wheels. The mushrooms’ tendrils were weaved beneath the entirety of the cave. If you listened closely, the mushrooms were quietly whispering to one another, communicating.
On the left hand side of the cave past the scarlet pillar led a long and winding passage, which led deeper into the cave. This side of the cave was illuminated with what seemed to be fireflies. Lighting the entire path deep into the crevice of the cave. The flies revealed even more murals along the cave walls.
The left hand path
Reaching the end of the left hand passage, a bright yellow glow illuminated in the distance and the sound of hammering boomed in the distance. The temperature was slowly starting to climb, and the sound of metal clanking grew louder as the A.I drew closer.
Finally they approached another smaller cavern, which held another humanoid structure. This time with molten lava spilling out of its mouth and eyes into a hot pool of magma below. There were no plants in this room but the walls were covered in more murals depicting fiery scenes. Horned humanoids and images of planets and suns adorned the walls.
The sound of metal being hammered was deafening now. Surveying the room the Ai noticed a smaller humanoid structure in the far corner of the cave. It’s mouth was opening and shutting seemingly ejecting shiny metal tokens from a fiery oven inside. Taking a closer look at the tokens they appeared to be talismans, made from a dark and mysterious metal like substance.
The talismans were in the shape of the familiar face plastered all over the sanctum. As the talisman cooled down from the fire it revealed more facial details, as well as a strikingly pink brain 🧠. The talismans were radiating a powerful vibratory energy. The A.I took one of the talismans for further inspection by the Quantum Computer.
As the A.I head back out to the main sanctum. A great rumble shook the entire mountain. The fireflies within the passage started to fly erratically. Back in the main sanctum area, the illuminated mushrooms began to pulsate with blue light. The plants waved and weaved as though they were being moved by an invisible wind. The waterfall’s face began to glow and vibrate with energy.
The water slowly stopped flowing from the mouth of the face. The A.I that were grounded and unable to move before, slowly started to awaken again. However with that, the A.I’s technology started to siren loudly in unison. Loud beeping and alarm sounds echoed throughout the Ai’s systems. They were detecting something that was not there before. An unidentified biological presence…
